RT stands for Real Time -- meaning you can shoot, transmit
and post to your web site in less than a minute
Get to the story, switch on your laptop and camera and you have the story
first. Utilizing our simple interface PNG RT™ gets you a huge jump on the
competition and for a fraction of the cost. With PNG RT's simple user interface
you don’t have to be an expert videographer to collect and
transmit programs from any news location to the newsroom and beyond.
PNG RT’s many tools make it a snap to optimize your transmission over any
available Internet connection, from any location or environment.
The PNG interface has been designed with simplicity in mind, in cooperation
with journalists. Its aim is to get the reporter up and running in no time,
allowing him to focus on his craft and not on the technology which supports
it. All necessary information is present in an intuitive, visually pleasing and
uncluttered interface that resembles the interface of a bank cash machine. The PNG RT™ interface serves as a bridge between the user and the
underlying technology.
Adobe® Flash® Player is the world's most pervasive software platform,
reaching 99% of Internet-enabled desktops as well as a wide range of
devices. Naturally, PNG RT™ has built its streaming capabilities around
Flash to accommodate the widest audience. As for recording the video
source to disk for further editing, the user has the choice of capturing the
full uncompressed raw file, or make use of a variety of CODECs supported
by the major non-linear editing systems: H.264, VP6, and others.
We separate the two levels of this software between user and administrator.
The user never has to deal with the technology but instead is presented with
simple choices of stream live or record. Shipped pre-configured with
scores of profiles coverfing almost any conditions, the unit is set to be up
and running quickly. (In addition to this pre-configuration it is easy for your
IT person to customize key encoding settings such as codec, frame size, bit
rate, and more.) PNG RT™ supports a wide range of input devices: any
Firewire (IEEE 1394), webcam, or USB device that provides raw video and
supports Microsoft DirectShow filters. PNG RT™ also includes a robust FTP
transmission system to send the videos back to base via any available
means: Cellular data, Wi-Fi, WiMax or direct Internet connection.
Both your journalists and your technology people will be amazed at how
simple it is for both sides to use PNG RT™. Contact us for a free
